Flying As I Fall
There’ll be no statue of me
In the town square
No portraits in a hall shall you find
An eternal flame will not be lit
On a monument to me that is not there
I walked through this life
And left nary a trace
My Impact was small
In such a large space
So from the highest building
I will leap
Heeding a silent call
But shed not a tear for me
As I’ll finally be flying
As I fall
