But let me come back to that in a bit. First let me say that tonight was the first time that I've ever been to a hockey. While the ECHL isn't exactly the Majors, I'd heard about the fun that my friend's had had at other Utah Grizzlies games. So, when it came down to choosing between my Arduino class, and going to a Grizzlies game for my friend's birthday, I chose...
That isn't to say that I regret going to see the game! While not the most excitement I've ever had, it ceratinly had its moment. When the highlight (singular) of the game occurs in the last two minutes of over-time, you know you've had an awesome evening! What happened was that the Idaho Steelheads were on a powerplay in the last two minutes of regulation overtime, and just as the 5th Grizzlie player came out of the penalty box, the Steelheads scored the winning goal. And I mean, right as he hit the ice! I laughed. At him. And the we all left.
So no, that wasn't why I regretted going to the game. My regret comes instead, from having had to view this:
I was so traumatized by it that I had to watch it again when I got home. Fortunately for my sanity, twice was plenty. But you can imagine why I might've perked up when it first came on the jumbotron. Blondes and Brunettes in armour, holding sharp pointy things? The iconic percussion of a time-worn classic in a gladitorial setting? Pepsi? It was all shaping up to be a truly epic video! And then the girls began to "sing"...

Sweet shit! It's Britney Spears, Pink, and Beyonce! It's...it's...it's like the Trifecta of Suck!
However, my love of Pepsi remains strong. It shall take more than three screeching banshees caterwauling Queen to make me quit that delicious syrupy-sugary battery acid in a blue and red can! Viva Pepsi!
